Laval, Quebec, November 9, 2011 – 20-20 Technologies Inc. (TSX: TWT), the world leader in 3D interior design and furniture manufacturing software, announced today the recent signing of an agreement with Marya, a Russian kitchen manufacturer. The contract, which could result in revenues in excess of US$1.5 million, involves the sale of 20-20 Technologies’ end-to-end solution and includes the flagship software 20-20 Design and 20-20 Enterprise inSight.
Marya holds a prominent place in the Russian marketplace as a kitchen designer, manufacturer, distributor and retailer. The company operates approximately sixty stores of its own, and supplies an additional one hundred and eighty retailers.
20-20 Technologies provides a unique end-to-end suite of software that integrates all functions of the interior design process – from design to manufacture – resulting in easier customization, less duplication of effort and more productivity. This contract follows agreements earlier in the year to supply “point-of-sale to manufacturing” software solutions to Russia. It highlights 20-20 Technologies’ commitment to be a preferred provider of end-to-end solutions in the fast-growing Russian marketplace.
“We are pleased to be partnering with a company whose brand is synonymous with prestigious kitchens in Russia,” said Jörg Witthus, Executive Vice President, Europe, Middle East and Africa at 20-20. “As a manufacturer for both the mid-level and high end of the Russian market, Mayra is experiencing a growing demand for customized kitchens and has selected 20-20 Design and 20-20 Enterprise inSight as the best solution for its needs.
20-20 Technologies has supplied Marya with 20-20 Design licenses to replace the third-party software licenses that are currently being used. As the Russian company begins to migrate to 20-20 Design, the addition of 20-20’s Enterprise inSight solution for manufacturing will enable Marya to seamlessly link their design process to their production process,” said Mr Witthus.
“Our current production relies upon numerous software solutions, which are by contrast inefficient, resulting in many manual interactions and the inability to accommodate the fast-growing demand for customized kitchens. With the solutions offered by 20-20 Technologies, we will provide our people with an integrated, seamless capability from design to delivery of goods, ” said Efim Kats, general director at Marya.
