20-20 Drill-Mate uses a parametric (rules-based) database that you control. It includes an extensive library of machining templates covering most options for commercial casework; however, new templates can be easily changed or created.

20-20 Drill-Mate allows you to create groups of multiple operations that can be reused in many drilling templates. Common operations such as line bores, toe notch, multiple pass rout dados are easily handled. Feature groups make it simple to set up once and benefit over and over again.

• Assign a generic zone (like back left)
• Pick the function (bore, rout, groove, pod)
• Assign a generic tool (like 12mm2Flute)
• Assign the part face (top bottom etc.)
• Pick the starting and ending positions (relative to part corner) using variables such as Width, Length, and Thickness
• Set up the quantity field parametrically (add extra holes only if divider panel is present, etc.)
• Establish the lead in / lead out (if required)
• Creating programs is automatic
